"Real" Madrid striker Karim Benzema does not believe that the club needs to make changes in the coaching staff.
"The Whites" recently finished the fight for three trophies. They were eliminated from the King's Cup and the Champions League in a particularly loud manner - "Real" lost to "Barca" and "Ajax" by a three-goal margin in front of their own fans.
All week there was talk of Santiago Solari's dismissal, but he still led the team in the match against "Real Valladolid," which Madrid won 4-1.
"I hope Solari will stay here until the end of the season. However, this is up to the club to decide, so I don't want to discuss it," the Frenchman said.
"We support Solari. If the team wasn't with the coach, they wouldn't have played matches like today against 'Real Valladolid.' I don't think anything needs to be changed when there are 11 matches left until the end of the season," the striker continued.
Speaking about a season without trophies, K. Benzema recalled past achievements: "Yes, we lost to 'Ajax,' but it seems like we haven't won anything before. People should not forget what we have achieved in recent years."
