K. De Bruyne criticizes R. Martinez's game tactics

One of the best Premier League midfielders Kevin De Bruyne believes that the Belgian national team has room for improvement, especially in terms of the coaching staff, who, according to him, do not always choose game tactics properly.

The Belgian national team, together with K. De Bruyne, played a 3-3 draw with Mexico in their latest friendly match. The Manchester City midfielder thinks that they struggle against teams like Mexico precisely because of the poor choice of game plan.

"Mexico was simply tactically better than us," said K. De Bruyne. "They made our five defenders play deep in their own half, while our midfield line was just floating in the middle - we played five against seven."

"We rely too much on our talents. Until we have a good tactical system, we will have serious difficulties against teams like Mexico. It's a shame that we haven't found a solution to this problem yet.

"Of course, we have a certain game system, but there are too many defenders and attacking players who want to have the ball," explained the Belgian who has flourished under Pep Guardiola's guidance.
