K. De Bruyne dissatisfied with "Man City" actions in negotiations for a new contract © PA

„Manchester City“ leader Kevin De Bruyne is currently not only recovering from an injury, but also negotiating with the club for contract extension. The 29-year-old Belgian's current contract with the "Citizens" is valid until 2023, but both parties want to extend this collaboration, and the player himself negotiates without using an agent in these talks. However, "The Athletic" reports that the negotiations are not going as smoothly as initially thought. It seems that "Man City" is offering the central midfielder to even minimally reduce his salary, despite the fact that not long ago the Manchester club was prepared to pay an impressive sum for Lionel Messi. This has caused dissatisfaction for K. De Bruyne. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that the leaders of the "Premier League" will meet their leader's financial demands and the contract will be extended.
