Thursday evening saw yet another match of the European Football Championship B group. The Belgian national team won their second victory, defeating the Danes with a score of 2:1. It was the Danish footballers who started the match more successfully - Yussuf Poulsen scored a goal in the 2nd minute. In the 10th minute, the match was briefly stopped and applause was paid to Danish national team player Christian Eriksen, whose heart had briefly stopped during the first match against Finland. Danes looked solid throughout the first half and went into halftime with a minimal advantage. However, in the second half, Kevin De Bruyne appeared on the scene and essentially changed Belgium's game. In the 55th minute, the midfielder made an assist to Thorgan Hazard, and in the 70th minute, he himself scored the winning goal of the match. Danes tried to equalize the score at the end of the match, but their efforts were in vain. Belgians became the second team to secure a spot in the knockouts, while the Danes now face a decisive battle with the Russians.
