Amsterdam's "Ajax" talent Kasper Dolberg revealed that a possible move to Madrid's "Real" looks attractive, but he is definitely not in a hurry to leave his current club.
The 19-year-old scored 23 goals in all competitions last season and was hailed as one of the most promising snipers in Europe. The Dane also led his team to the UEFA Europa League final.
The "Royal" club is looking for reinforcement following Alvaro Morata's departure. One potential target is the young Kylian Mbappe from "Monaco," but it would require a record-breaking fee.
"In modern football, where everyone seems to be for sale, it may seem a bit strange, but Overmars ("Ajax" director - ed. note) said that I am not for sale," Dolberg told De Telegraaf. "And I agree with that. I want to stay and I definitely won't leave."
When asked if he would like a career similar to Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who also moved from "Ajax" to "Real," the 19-year-old insisted on seeking his own path. The Dutchman, who left Spain, also played for "Milan" and Gelsenkirchen's "Schalke."
"Madrid's 'Real' would be a good choice. 'Milan' and 'Schalke' are also great clubs," Dolberg added. "Besides, everyone dreams of finishing second or third in the World Championship. However, I will just follow my own path."
