Kevin Gameiro, who did not fit into the "Atletico" team in Madrid, is preparing to say goodbye.
Based in Valencia, "Super Deporte" reports that the 31-year-old striker has reached an agreement with "Valencia". The clubs only need to agree on the final transfer fee and negotiations will be completed.
K. Gameiro arrived at "Atletico" in 2016. The Frenchman's career stage in this team did not unfold as planned - in two years he played 79 matches and scored 26 goals, although most of them came from the bench.
The "Valencia" team also does not see the footballer as a strong starting lineup player, but they need reinforcement in attack, as the "bats" will compete in the Champions League tournament next season.
Prior to arriving in Madrid, K. Gameiro successfully played for "Sevilla" for three years.
