Munich's "Bayern" club executive director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says that Dortmund's "Borussia" leaders will need to offer a lot in order to keep the team's leader Marco Reus within their ranks.
On Tuesday, the German newspaper Bild reported that the 25-year-old German has refused to extend his contract with Dortmund in order to move to another team.
The player has a buyout clause of 35 million euros in his contract, which will only come into effect next summer. Both "Manchester United" and "Barcelona" have shown interest in Reus.
Rummenigge believes that Reus' intentions became clear when he refused to extend his contract with "Borussia".
"I think Dortmund's 'Borussia' will face difficulties. The best clubs in Europe will want to find out what Reus' buyout amount is, and there are quite a few teams interested in the player's services," he said.
Reus arrived at "Borussia" in 2012 and scored 30 goals in 62 matches.
