In the summer celebrating his 21st birthday, Leverkusen's "Bayer" attacking midfielder Kai Havertz has already played in 139 matches for his current team and has also made 7 appearances for the German national team.
It is not surprising that such clubs as "Real", "Barcelona", "Bayern", "Liverpool" or "Manchester United" are already targeting the young talent, whose price is around 100 million euros.
It is almost certain that K. Havertz will leave "Bayer" in the near future, as the German himself has mentioned his desire to seek new challenges.
"I am ready to take a new step in my career and I really like challenges. I definitely do not rule out the possibility of moving abroad.
"Bayer" is a great club and I feel very good here, but at some point I will want to take a new step in my career. Those are my ambitions," - K. Havertz told "Sport Bild".
The attacking midfielder also revealed that his decision will be influenced by the coach he would have to work with at the new club.
"The coach is a very important person to me. I must get along well with him. A great example is my current coach Peter Bosz," added the German.
This season, K. Havertz scored 10 goals and made 8 assists in 34 matches.
