The rising star of "Manchester City" Kelechi Iheanacho says that comparisons with "Man United" sniper Marcus Rashford only have a positive impact on him.
For both Manchester clubs, this Premier League season was not very good, but the teams can at least rejoice in finding their young talents.
Iheanacho played 34 matches in the "city" ranks, scoring 14 goals. Meanwhile, Rashford managed to score seven times in 16 matches, including a crucial shot into the "City" goal.
"I like competition, so when people compare me to Rashford, it gives me more confidence and motivation. It also makes me work harder," - the nineteen-year-old Nigerian striker told Daily Mail.
"I hope our comparisons will continue, because if we continue to push each other, it will be great for Manchester. If both of us continue to improve and score many goals for our teams, it will be very interesting."
Iheanacho also added that Rashford is a great talent from whom one can learn.
