For a long time, the star of "Roma" Kostas Manolas has been negotiating personal contract terms with Milan's "Inter" clubs. Such information is reported by Goal.com sources.
The Greek considered one of the best central defenders should sign a five-year contract with "nerazzurri" this summer, earning about 4.5 million euros annually.
However, "Inter" still needs to agree on the 25-year-old player's transfer fee. "Roma" demands as much as 44 million euros, but this shouldn't deter the new owners of the "fashion capital" club from China.
Manolas' current contract with "giallorossi" is valid until 2019, so if the club does not sell him now, the defender's price could drop significantly.
The current annual salary of the Greek national team player, which amounts to 1.6 million euros, is not satisfactory, but negotiations for new terms have not been successful.
"Paris Saint-Germain" is also interested in Manolas. However, they are not willing to part with the 44 million euro sum.
"Roma" acquired the player from "Olympiacos" in Piraeus for 15 million in 2014. Since then, Manolas has played in more than 100 matches.
