Rising "Paris Saint-Germain" star Kylian Mbappe is happy with comparisons to Thierry Henry but doesn't want people to see him as someone's copy.
The 18-year-old broke into football elite last season with an impressive display in the ranks of "Monaco", prompting Parisians to fork out a staggering 160 million euros for him.
Yesterday, the sniper also won the best young footballer award.
"It is an honor for me," Mbappe told Tuttosport about comparisons to London's "Arsenal" legend. "However, it doesn't affect me."
"I want to be known as myself, not someone else's copy. I know people expect a lot from me, but I am not the player who leaves his mark in every match."
"I have to work very hard. My young age will never be an excuse."
Starting his career at PSG, Mbappe scored four goals and made as many assists in 11 matches.
