Kylian Mbappe for the first time after a painful exit from the UEFA Champions League spoke to the media representatives.
Paris Saint-Germain sensationally exited the Champions League when they were defeated by Manchester United in the quarter-final stage. The latter lost the first match by a two-goal deficit, but "United" punished the hosts in Paris in the final moments of the match.
"I am shocked, it's hard to find words. After the match, I can't really fall asleep, but I think the whole team is in the same situation," K. Mbappe answered when interviewed by "Telefoot". "The fans were incredible - the stadium was full. The atmosphere was really impressive, but we ruined it."
"There are quite a few people who doubt us, but I still believe in this project. I am convinced that together with the fans of this club, we will achieve a lot of good. I hope they won't give up on us," continued the young football star.
When asked about his future, K. Mbappe was confident: "I will play here next season as well."
