Paris Saint-Germain's talent Kylian Mbappe could have been in Kiev right now, preparing for the Champions League final with Real Madrid. However, the footballer chose not to move to Spain and stayed in his homeland.
Former PSG coach Unai Emery revealed that K. Mbappe wanted to move to Real Madrid or Barcelona from Monaco. However, Monaco's vice-president Vadim Vasilyev disclosed that this was not true.
One of the team's leaders admitted that K. Mbappe rejected Real's offer because he wanted to continue playing in France.
"I remember when we were at training and received a call from Real. We agreed to their offer of 180 million euros to sell Mbappe. Later I saw him and told him about the offer, the one that you can't refuse from his dream club. We didn't want to make the decision for him, so he had to decide himself.
"However, he told me that he wants to move to Paris. After that, many details had to be resolved, but until the last moment I doubted the deal," - said V. Vasilyev.
