Kylian Mbappe has been one of the most prominent young talents in the last two seasons, and now he has etched his name into the UEFA Champions League records. The forward scored a goal yesterday against Bayern Munich, making him the 10th youngest player to do so in the strongest European tournament. At just 18 years and 11 months old, the Frenchman became the youngest footballer to achieve such a feat. Furthermore, the difference between him and the stars left behind is huge. Mbappe is almost two years younger than Real Madrid's forward Karim Benzema, who held this record until now. Benzema scored his 10th goal at the age of 20 years and 10 months. The rising star of Paris Saint-Germain has also outpaced Javier Saviola, Lionel Messi, and Raul, who reached this milestone at the age of 21, while Wayne Rooney scored his 10th goal just two weeks after his 22nd birthday. Last season, Mbappe stood out in the ranks of Monaco until the semi-finals, scoring once, and this year he added four goals in the group stage.
