K. Mbappe: The Champions League title is significantly more important to me than the "Ballon d'Or"

The young talent of "Monaco" Kylian Mbappe says that his desire to win the UEFA Champions League is consuming him, and this achievement is much more important to him than the "Ballon d'Or" award.

After a great season played by the eighteen-year-old, the future looks promising for him to compete for not only one Golden Ball, but there are also loud rumors linking him to a transfer to the wealthiest European clubs.

It is with them that the striker could fight for the strongest trophy of the Old Continent tournament, which he was just a few steps away from this year with "Monaco".

"(Champions League - ed.) is a dream. It's a tournament that everyone wants to win, but only a few can do it. The most important thing is the titles," Mbappe told Telefoot.

"For me, this would be a much bigger obsession than, for example, the 'Ballon d'Or'. I want to touch the stars, and when you dream, you don't think about playing in the middle of the tournament table or about securing your spot."

Mbappe, who sparkled this season, surprised everyone by scoring 26 goals and making 14 assists in 44 matches.
