“Liverpool” will not defend the FA Cup title they won last year.
Jurgen Klopp's side stumbled in the fourth round, conceding a 1-2 defeat to “Brighton”.
In the 30th minute, the “Reds” managed to take the lead after Harvey Elliott's goal. Before the end of the first half, the “Seagulls” equalized – a ricochet goal was scored by “Brighton” captain Lewis Dunk.
The decisive goal for victory came in extra time. Kaoru Mitoma, who controlled the ball perfectly, secured the victory for Roberto De Zerbi's team.
