Madriddo „Real“ goalkeeper Keylor Navas says he will do everything in his power to push Iker Casillas out of the starting lineup.
Despite the captain's inconsistent form, the Costa Rican who arrived at the „royal“ club from Valencia's „Levante“ last summer failed to secure the position of the main goalkeeper.
„I am not someone who just accepts the situation. I don't give up easily“, - Navas told AS.
„I know the situation is not what I wanted, but that means I have to play the best I can, be stronger and give my all as I have done so far“.
„I have been in this situation before. Although I would like more, I am relaxed“.
„I know the path I have to take to achieve results, so I try to learn something. I think being in the Madrid „Real“ team is a privilege and I try to prove every day why they signed me“.
Navas played in eight matches this season, keeping a clean sheet in three of them.
