"Leicester City" on Thursday suffered their second consecutive loss in the Premier League, losing 0:4 at home to Liverpool.
The leaders of the Premier League had only a minimal lead until the 71st minute, when the match referee awarded a penalty kick to "The Foxes," which was successfully converted by James Milner. Later, the visitors scored two more goals.
After the match, Leicester's goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel was unhappy with referee Michael Oliver's decision to award a penalty kick and defended his young teammate Caglar Soyuncu, who inadvertently handled the ball in the penalty area.
"I think the decision was quite strange. We were in the game until the moment the referee decided to become a hero. After that episode, we lost composure," Schmeichel said while speaking to Amazon Prime.
