he head coach of the Georgian national team, German Klaus Toppmöller, announced the squad for the qualifying matches for the 2008 European Championship against the national teams of Lithuania and France.

A total of 24 players have been called up to the national team, including notable players such as Milan defender Kakhaber Kaladze, Schalke midfielder Levan Kobiashvili, and AZ Alkmaar forward Shota Arveladze.

The Georgian national team will face the Lithuanian footballers in Kaunas on June 2, and four days later they will play against France as the away team.
