Former footballer Kolo Toure begins his managerial career.
"Wigan Athletic" officially announced that the team's helm is taken over by the 41-year-old specialist from the Ivory Coast.
The former "Premier League" club is currently competing in the "Championship" league, where they are in 22nd place after 21 games played.
K. Toure's brother Yaya is currently in a coaching role at the London "Tottenham" club academy.
K. Toure himself has been apprenticing for several years in Brendan Rodgers' coaching staff at "Celtic" and "Leicester City" clubs.
