According to the team's website on Saturday, the defender of this club and the Brazilian national team, Kaka, wrote a letter to the Brazilian Football Federation asking not to include him in the team participating in the America's Cup, as he is tired.

"Considering a possible invitation to the America's Cup, I believe that I will not be in the ideal sporting form expected of me at the international level," - the words from Kaka's letter quoted on the Italian club's website.

"I haven't rested for three seasons. With this letter, I officially request not to be included in the national team participating in the America's Cup," - the Brazilian explained the purpose of the letter.

This season, the defender is showing amazing sporting form, leading the "Milan" team to defeat the English champions "Man Utd" and reach the Champions League final.

During last year's off-season, the player missed representing the Brazilian national team at the 2006 World Cup.

The America's Cup will take place this year from June 26 to July 15 in Venezuela.
