As the UEFA Champions League semi-finals draw closer, Brazilian player Kaka, who holds Italian citizenship, stated that the impressive victory in the quarterfinals against "Roma" did not intimidate the team.
The Manchester team, leading in the English Premier League, crushed the Italians at home with a score of 7-1, confidently advancing to the semi-finals where they will face another "Serie A" giant.
"Man Utd is a great team, but we are not afraid of any club in the world," said the 24-year-old attacking midfielder.
"Yes, we respect them, but we are certainly not scared. I have no doubt that we will have two great matches ahead. In the semi-finals, everyone will see the kind of battle they want to see in important knockout matches."
Showing respect to their opponent, yet not hiding their confidence in their own abilities, Milan's head coach Carlo Ancelotti also did not hold back.
"So far in this tournament, we have shown excellent results - we have reached the top four, while many strong teams have already concluded their performances," said the specialist.
"Man Utd is a very strong team, playing fast football and effectively utilizing the strengths of their best players.
"We need to stop their counterattacks, otherwise achieving a positive result will be extremely difficult."
