Despite not being initially invited to the "Copa America Centenario" tournament in Brazil, Kaka will still participate in the championship, as another player's injury allowed him to do so.
The 34-year-old midfielder will join the national team in place of Douglas Costa, who will miss the tournament due to a muscle injury. Kaka was included in the extended 40-player squad, so when Costa got injured, there were no problems inviting him to the team.
Throughout his career, Kaka has played 91 matches for the Brazilian national team, scoring 29 goals. Brazil will begin the "Copa America Centenario" on June 4th with a match against Ecuador.
