Relentlessly approaching the 2022 World Championship in Qatar, another scandal has emerged. According to AP, the country's law enforcement detained construction workers who decided to protest in order to receive their rightfully earned wages. It is reported that at least 60 foreign workers have been detained in Qatar. Some of them patiently waited for their salaries for up to seven months. Eventually, the workers' patience ran out and a few days ago they staged a protest outside the headquarters of "Al Bandary International Group" in Doha.
