On Tuesday in the Baltic Football League matches, Lithuanian clubs had different outcomes. Vilnius "Žalgiris" defeated Tallinn "Levadia" 2-1 at home and advanced to the quarterfinals, while "Kaunas" and Panevėžys "Ekranas" ended their away matches in a draw. In the last day's matches, far from the strongest composition, Vilnius "Vėtra" lost 0-1 at home to Tallinn "Flora".
After the last matches, the pairs for the quarterfinals of the tournament were finally determined. Only one pair will see two clubs from the same country face each other: "Kaunas" will meet Vilnius "Žalgiris". In other pairs, Liepaja "Metalurgs" will compete with Narva "Trans", while Vilnius "Vėtra" and Panevėžys "Ekranas" will respectively face "Ventspils" and Riga's "Skonto".
The first quarterfinal matches will be played on June 13.
