Edinburgh signed a contract with the representative of "Kaunas," Evaldas Razulis. The 24-year-old footballer can play both as a forward and on both wings in attack.
"Evaldas is a tall, strong player, similar to Kevin Kyle," said Hearts coach Jim Jefferies. "We will watch him for a few weeks and hope that he strengthens the team."
Razulis will specifically replace Kyle, who is currently recovering from a groin injury.
"It's sad to say goodbye to Evaldas, as he has been our main forward. But we must be happy for the opportunities that have opened up for him in his career," said Eimantas Puras, acting director of "Kaunas," on the club's website.
Hearts' newcomer will join the only compatriot in the Edinburgh team, Marius Zaliukas.
