Kaunas district's 'Hegelmann' club has been joined by a 'Montpellier HSC' trainee

The FC "Hegelmann" club of Kaunas district has welcomed another newcomer. The new addition is a young attacking player from France – Yanis Azouazi.

The 20-year-old player has Moroccan roots but was born and raised in Montpellier, France. Yanis started his career at his hometown club "Montpellier HSC" and played in all age group teams.

In the summer of 2022, the Frenchman signed a professional contract with "Montpellier HSC" and has been playing for the B team ever since. In 40 matches, the player who can play as an attacking and winger midfielder scored three goals and recorded seven assists. In youth teams, Y. Azouazi distinguished himself with 14 accurate shots.

"I am very proud and happy to join FC 'Hegelmann.' I am extremely grateful to the entire club and staff for the trust they have placed in me. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed not only by the coaches but also by my teammates," Y. Azouazi told fchegelmann.com.

According to the Frenchman, he is ready to earn the coach's trust as quickly as possible and give his all for the team.

"I am prepared to give everything for this club and embrace the challenges that await us in the championship, cup competitions, and qualifiers for the UEFA Conference League."
