The approaching Champions League final divided the Žalgiris fans into two camps. Some of them hoped for the third consecutive triumph of „Real“, while others hoped to be stopped by the „Liverpool“ team.
Many more citizens of Kaunas believed in the victory of the Madrid team: Paulius Jankūnas, Edgaras Ulanovas, Antanas Kavaliauskas, Axel Toupane, Paulius Valinskas, Beno Udrih, team manager Mindaugas Kvedaras and assistant coach Darius Maskoliūnas predicted their triumph.
