Another newcomer joined the "Kauno Žalgiris" football team on Tuesday. He is 28-year-old midfielder Anton Tolordava.
After successfully completing a medical check on Monday, the Georgian arrived in Kaunas from the "Telavi" club, which competes in the strongest Sakartvelo football league, where he spent six years with interruptions and served as team captain.
The tall midfielder has already tasted the bread of being a legionnaire. In 2021, he won the Estonian football cup with Tallinn's "Levadia," and in 2022, he represented Niš's "Radnički" club in Serbia for a while before spending a year and a half at "Shakhter" in Karaganda, Kazakhstan.
By the way, during his time at "Telavi" and "Shakhter," he played alongside another new member of "Kauno Žalgiris," Temur Chogadze.
The next friendly match for the "Kauno Žalgiris" footballers will be against the "Panevėžys" club on January 18.
