At the Darius and Girėnas Stadium, the Gargždai "Banga" football players, who recently lifted the trophies of the "FPRO LFF Cup" tournament, fought for another point in the match against "Kauno Žalgiris." For the third time in this "TOPsport A League" season, the teams played to a draw with the score 1:1 (1:1).

The home team was active from the very beginning of the match, and this paid off in the 6th minute – after a great pass from Aldayro Hernandez, Oyinlola Kayode scored with an accurate shot.

In the middle of the half, the advantage could have been doubled not only by Antonas Fase and Fedoras Černychas, who hit the post, but also by Nidas Vosylius, who shot at goalkeeper Mantas Bertašius.

In the 32nd minute, the balance was restored by the players from Gargždai. After a forced substitution, Aires Sousa, who entered the field, received a pass from Vaidas Magdušauskas and sent the ball into the net.

As the first half was nearing its end, F. Černychas took a very powerful shot, but M. Bertašius reacted excellently. Moments later, Jonathanas Tamimi rattled the crossbar, and the visiting player V. Magdušauskas missed the goal from a good position.

After the break, the "Banga" team created the first dangerous opportunity, but A. Sousa was unable to outsmart Deividas Mikelionis for the second time.

In the 86th minute, the Žalgiris players created a chance, but after O. Kayode's shot, goalkeeper M. Bertašius defended well.

By securing another point, the players from Gargždai now have 41 points and continue to confidently hold the fourth position, while "Kauno Žalgiris," with 54 points, is in third place.
