"Kauno Žalgiris" confidently advanced to the LFF futsal cup quarterfinals.

The reigning titleholders from Kaunas defeated Telšiai's "Damada" 8:3 in the match on Thursday evening.

The Lithuanian champions did not allow the hosts to think about fighting for victory from the very beginning of the match, and by the 7th minute, they led 3:0 after a precise shot from Alberto Voskunovičius and two goals from Filipe Da Silva Santana.

Eridanas Bagužas soon reduced "Damada's" deficit, but A. Voskunovič quickly restored "Kauno Žalgiris" a three-goal lead.

In the second half, the guests added one more goal each from F. Da Silva Santana, V. Derendiajev, A. Voskunovič, and Justinas Zagurskas.

"Damada" scored two consolation goals in the last minute when Jurgis Jankauskas and Marius Skirmantas found the net.
