The team's security guard Seydou Keita should stay at the Catalonia club until the summer of 2014.

On Tuesday, the footballer signed an additional two-year contract with "Barca". The contract includes a condition that the agreement with the player is automatically renewed for another year, depending on the number of matches played in the previous season.

Keita's previous fixed contract with the club remains valid until June 30, 2012. The Malian's buyout clause has been increased from 90 million to 100 million euros.

A similar contract was signed with Barcelona in June of this year by security guard Xavi.

Currently, the Catalan's contract is valid until June 30, 2014, but two new conditions have been added by mutual agreement between the player and the club.

If Xavi plays more than 50 percent of the official matches of the "Barcelona" team in the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons, the player's contract will automatically be extended for another year until the end of the 2014-2015 season.

A similar formula will be applied in the event that the player wishes to extend the contract until the summer of 2016. If Xavi plays more than 50 percent of the official meetings of the "Barcelona" team in the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons, the contract will automatically be extended for another season.
