On the last day of the player transfers in the English Premier League, London's "Chelsea" will shake the world - they will pay record money for a new goalkeeper.
This summer, the record for this position has already been set, when "Liverpool" paid 70-75 million euros for Alisson. "Chelsea" will surpass this sum - a 23-year-old Spanish national team goalkeeper Kepa is already arriving in London.
Reports of the player's intentions to join "Chelsea" only spread last night. Now the entire Spanish media is buzzing with news that the London club will pay Bilbao Athletic the release clause specified in Kepa's contract - even 80 million euros.
Journalists have already recorded the goalkeeper arriving at Madrid airport, from where he will head straight to the English capital.
Upon announcing the acquisition of Kepa, Thibaut Courtois will be sold to Real Madrid for 30-35 million euros.
Interestingly, the same Kepa was supposed to be in Madrid last winter for 20 million euros, but Zinedine Zidane blocked the deal and Kepa then signed a new contract with a much more impressive release clause.
