London's "Chelsea" club has financially punished goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The footballer will not receive his weekly salary of 225 thousand euros due to his actions during the English League Cup final match against the "Manchester City" team.
It is reported that "Chelsea" will donate this amount to charity.
The goalkeeper caused an unpleasant situation when approaching the penalty shootout series in the final, coach M. Sarri decided to replace his pupil with the much more experienced 37-year-old goalkeeper Wilfredo Caballero.
However, K. Arrizabalaga refused to be replaced, which understandably angered the coach, who was confused and didn't know where to go.
"Chelsea" lost the penalty shootout 3:4.
This could very well be Kepa's last game at Chelsea or the start of a legendary keeper if he wins this for Chelsea, although it doesn't look like Sarri would forgive him either way. Childish act to say the least.
