"Kicker": "Bayern" will not buy out J. Rodriguez's contract

Last season, James Rodriguez was one of the most important players of the Munich "Bayern" team, but this fall the Colombian's life in Germany did not go as he had hoped.

The 27-year-old midfielder still formally belongs to Madrid's "Real" club. The Bavarians borrowed him for two seasons in 2017 with the option to acquire all rights to him for 42 million euros.

"Kicker" claims that Bayern will not exercise this option, so he will return to Madrid in the summer.

J. Rodriguez recently suffered a serious injury and dropped out of the squad until the beginning of next year, but even before that, he was not a favorite of Niko Kovac - the Colombian often had to settle for the role of a substitute player this season.

Real Madrid itself should not be too worried - there were rumors that the "Whites" were prepared to make an offer for the player, whose fate depends on Bayern, this winter.

It is claimed that by foregoing the option to acquire rights to the Colombian, Bayern will invest the saved money in Frankfurt's "Eintracht" forward Luka Jovic, who currently has the most goals in the German league with nine strikes.
