King's Cup: "Real Betis" squandered a two-goal advantage against "Valencia"

On Thursday evening, the first leg of the second semifinal of the King's Cup tournament was played.

At the "Benito Villamarin" stadium, where the final will take place, the local Seville's "Real Betis" faced "Valencia". Despite having a two-goal advantage, the Andalusians collapsed at the end of the match and had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

At the end of the first half, Loren put the hosts ahead, and Joaquin extended the lead at the beginning of the second half.

However, "Valencia" did not give up and in the 70th minute, Denis Cheryshev reduced the deficit. At the end of the match, the "Bats" played aggressively and scored a crucial equalizer in extra time.

In the ranks of the visitors, the hero of the match was Kevin Gameiro, who had already recovered from the match against "Barcelona".

The second leg match will take place at the "Mestalla" stadium on February 28.
