During Thursday's „King's“ Cup quarterfinal matches, Madrid's „Real“ erased a two-goal deficit and defeated „Villarreal“ footballers with a score of 3:2.

„Villarreal“ played commendably in the first half and managed to build a two-goal advantage. Etienne Capoue scored in the 4th minute, while Samuel Chukwueze doubled the hosts' lead with an excellent assist in the 42nd minute.

However, Carlo Ancelotti's players showed character in the second half and were able to change the course of the match by scoring three goals.

In the 57th minute, Vinicius Junior narrowed the gap, while Eder Militao equalized in the 69th minute.

The winning goal for the visitors was created in the 86th minute by two substitutes. Marco Asensio made an assist, and Dani Ceballos scored with a shot into the bottom corner of the goal.

Meanwhile, „Barcelona“ had no trouble with the modest „Ceuta“ club. The Catalans crushed their opponents on the road with a score of 5:0. Goals for Xavi's team were scored by Raphinha, Ansu Fati, Franck Kessie, and Robert Lewandowski, who scored a brace.

Together with „Real“ and „Barca“, Madrid's „Atletico“, „Valencia“, „Sevilla“, „Osasuna“, „Real Sociedad“, and Bilbao's „Athletic“ teams secured their place in the quarterfinals of the „King's“ Cup.
