On Thursday evening in the King's Cup quarter-final match, Madrid's "Real" defeated Diego Simeone's "Atletico" players at home with a score of 3:1 after extra time.

The "Mattresses" managed to take the lead in the first two games, scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Alvaro Morata scored after Nahuel Molina's pass.

Madrid's "Real" equalized in the 79th minute with a great goal by Rodrygo. The match went into extra time.

During extra time, the "royal" club proved their advantage. In the 99th minute, "Atletico" defender Stefan Savic received a second yellow card and the guests had to finish the match with a reduced squad. "Real" instantly turned their numerical advantage into a goal when Karim Benzema sent the ball into the opponent's net in the 104th minute.

The final touch in this clash was made by Vinicius Junior, who scored the third goal for his team in the 120+1 minute.

Together with Carlo Ancelotti's players, "Osasuna," Bilbao's "Athletic," and "Barcelona" also secured their tickets to the King's Cup semi-finals.
