Keylor Navas defended team goalkeeper Iker Casillas and stated that he does not deserve the fans' whistles.
The Costa Rican national team goalkeeper, who arrived in Madrid this summer, competes with I. Casillas, but K. Navas does not approve of such behavior by the fans, as the Spaniard deserves respect.
In the recent match, K. Navas made his debut quite successfully. "Real" team defeated "Elche" with a score of 5-1, and the Costa Rican goalkeeper only conceded a goal from the penalty spot.
"The whistles towards him are unfair because he has played his entire career at one club and had a great career," said former Valencia "Levante" goalkeeper.
"Fans should support and encourage us. Those who whistle at Iker cannot be called true club fans," added the goalkeeper shining in the World Cup.
K. Navas also expressed his satisfaction with the first victory at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium: "One of my goals was to play in this stadium, it is a privilege. I am happy because we won."
