Due to the new club owners' unmet obligations and sudden withdrawal, the players, coaches, and administration of the "Riteriai" club have incurred debts. To manage the situation, the Lithuanian Football Federation provided a loan on Monday, which allowed for the repayment of accumulated debts. The funds reached the players and coaches on Tuesday, so currently, the club is not in debt.
"We have extinguished one fire, but we are looking for ways to put out others. Time is not our ally, so the club's rescue operation is in full swing. We hope for the best," said "Riteriai" director Vladimir Buzmakov.
Since Monday, negotiations have been actively ongoing with new potential investors. The Lithuanian Football Federation is also involved in the process, aiming to ensure the club's stability and long-term future.
