Koke: "Every time we arrive at 'Camp Nou', strange things happen"

"Atletico Madrid" suffered a painful defeat in the capital of Catalonia on Saturday and practically lost any chances of defeating "Barcelona".

"Rojiblancos" played a pretty good game, even though they were playing with ten men from the 28th minute. "Barca" showed their advantage only at the end of the match, when "Atletico" players could barely stand on their feet.

"Atletico" had to play with ten men after Diego Costa received a red card for dissent towards the referee. After the match, speaking to journalists, Koke stated that "strange things always happen at Camp Nou stadium".

"We played very well until the sending-off. But then all the small details, which are important in football, turned against us," said Koke.

"Every time we come here, strange things happen. We receive a lot of red cards when we play against "Barca", and not all of them are fair. If I remember correctly, in the last 11 games against them we received 7 red cards," continued the footballer.

Asked about the further fight in "La Liga" championship, the midfielder added: "We need to try to finish as high as possible in the league. We will have to review what happened in these matches. No one else should know what we talk about in the locker room."
