One of the most talented Spanish footballers, Koke, stated that he does not intend to part ways with Madrid's "Atletico" club.
There have been reports in the media that the 23-year-old footballer could join London's "Chelsea" team after the season, following the signings last summer of two "Rojiblancos" players - Diego Costa and Filipe Luis.
However, Koke does not plan to follow in the footsteps of his former teammates and instead will remain 100 percent with the Spanish capital team.
"Yes, I will continue to play here," answered the Spaniard when asked by an "AS" journalist if he is 100 percent sure about his future at the "Atletico" club.
The midfielder also emphasized that F. Luis is still welcomed in Madrid, as there have been rumors in the press about a possible return of the Brazilian: "Filipe is more than a teammate, that's why he is welcome here."
This season, Koke played 42 matches and scored four goals.
