Kyiv "Dynamo" Will Have to Play Their Next Matches Without Spectators

After more than a month following the Champions League match with "Chelsea", where a number of problems, including racist insults, were noted, UEFA imposed a three-match ban without spectators for Kyiv's "Dynamo" club for these offenses.

After an investigation by the UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Commission, it was decided that two upcoming European matches will be played behind closed doors, and the disqualification for the third match has been postponed for three years.

"FC Dynamo Kyiv will have to host three UEFA matches behind closed doors. The disqualification of the third match has been postponed and a three-year probationary period has been imposed. The club has also been fined 100,000 euros," UEFA said in a statement.

This punishment was primarily imposed because "Dynamo" fans attacked at least eight away supporters during the match.

The first match behind closed doors will take place in the next Champions League round against "Maccabi Tel-Aviv", and the second match without spectators will be in the knockout stages of the Europa League or Champions League. At the moment, the Ukrainians are in third place in Group G, trailing leaders "Porto" and "Chelsea" by two points.
