Defender Leighton Baines, who has played twelve seasons in the ranks of "Everton," will continue to defend the honor of the "Toffees" for at least another year.
The club announced that the 34-year-old Englishman has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
Since 2007, L. Baines has been playing for "Everton" and has become a true club legend, attracting the attention of some of the major English teams at one point.
The defender has played a total of 411 matches and scored 38 goals in the ranks of "Everton."
The Englishman has also played in 10 matches for his country's national team and once scored a goal.
