„Paris Saint-Germain“ strategist Laurent Blanc says that in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final match against London's „Chelsea“ on Wednesday, his players must compete with cold-bloodedness.
The French champions warmed up yesterday before the important midweek clash, defeating „Lens“ 4-1.
Blanc was satisfied with the team's performance, but despite scoring four goals, the coach was not happy with the players' finishing.
„Today's result is very good, and we didn't suffer any injuries, so the warm-up was great“, – the strategist told the official club website after the game.
„We earned three points, created numerous opportunities, and played good football.“
„Nevertheless, in four days, we need to take advantage of a higher percentage of our chances.“
„It's obvious that scoring against „Chelsea“ will be much more difficult than today.“
PSG will have to score at least once in the English capital, as the first leg in Paris ended in a 1-1 draw. If the second leg ends goalless, „Chelsea“ will advance to the quarter-finals.
