L. de La Fuente: "Give Rodri the 'Ballon d'Or' prize, please"

The Spanish national team beat England in the European Championship final with a score of 2:1 and became European champions.

"La Roja" head coach Luis de la Fuente said that the team's goalkeeper Rodri is fully deserving of competing for the "Ballon d'Or" award:

"Rodri must win the 'Ballon d'Or' prize. Give it to him, please.

He is simply the best player in the world."

Rodri was named the best player of the European Championship.
