"Roma" defender Lucas Digne believes that his team is capable of finally surpassing Turin's "Juventus" in the Italian championship next season.
"Bianconeri" have already won the "Serie A" title for the fifth time in a row, while the capital's footballers have been fighting for silver medals for the third year.
"I believe that this team can go far next season and become champions," - Digne told Goal.com.
Lately, Luciano Spalletti's players, who have been in good form, defeated "Genoa" last week and are now only two points behind the higher-ranked "Napoli".
"We cannot do more than we are already doing now," added the 22-year-old footballer. "We win every game and ensure that 'Napoli' feels the pressure. If they slip up, we will have done our part. They know that."
"We have not lost in 15 matches in the Serie A championship - it is fantastic to be part of such success."
In the same interview, Digne, who belongs to "Paris Saint-Germain," added that he wants to stay in Rome next season.
