The head coach of Barcelona, Luis Enrique, remained impressed by his team's performance in the first UEFA Champions League quarterfinal match.
The owners of four Champions League trophies clashed with Paris Saint-Germain on the field. Barcelona faced no resistance - goals from Neymar and Luis Suarez helped secure victory with a 1-3 result.
"Today we were amazing both in attack and defense," said L. Enrique after the match. "Now is a great opportunity to congratulate the team's players, who absolutely deserve this victory."
"However, our goal now is to focus on the upcoming matches. We don't want to give any hope to PSG and will also strive for victory at home."
"Suarez's performance today reminded me of his goals at Ajax and Liverpool. I don't want to single out just Suarez, because today the whole team was fantastic," said the coach.
L. Enrique's players will play the second leg match against PSG next Tuesday.
