"Barcelona" coach Luis Enrique says that the decision of Madrid's "Real" to fire Rafa Benitez did not surprise him.
The "Royal" club decided to part ways with the strategist after just seven months of work. The leadership was not satisfied with the results shown by the team, including a 0-4 loss to "Barca".
Furthermore, throughout the entire season, rumors of disagreements in the team's locker room were constantly circulating.
"I am not surprised by Madrid's decision to dismiss Benitez," Enrique said at a press conference.
"That's how things unfold in modern football. It's nothing new. I don't think it's unfair to the coaches. Risk comes with this profession. We are introduced to this during coaching courses. We know that this can happen, and we all come to terms with it."
"It's a pity for those who are fired, but we can be happy for those who get the job."
"At some point in our careers, we all find ourselves in such situations."
