Luis Enrique rejoiced in an impressive victory against the Croatian national team, but journalists became curious as to why there were so many representatives of the Madrid "Real" club in the starting lineup.
The Spanish national team crushed the Croatians with a score of 6:0, and even the country's football gem Marco Asensio contributed to five of the goals.
L. Enrique played for many years at the "Barcelona" club and later also coached it, so since his arrival, there were speculations on how he would integrate the players from the Madrid "Real" into the team. However, yesterday six "white" representatives - Carvajal, Ramos, Nacho, Isco, Ceballos, and Asensio - played in the starting lineup.
L. Enrique does not agree with conspiracy theories like that and claims that he does not pay attention to the colors of the jerseys when choosing players.
"Six 'Real' players in the starting lineup? I didn't know that and I really don't care. They are Spanish players, that's all I can say on this matter.
I don't care at all which team they come from to the national team. Our foundation is made up of Madrid "Real" players, but that doesn't pose any problems for me. I see only one team's jerseys, and that is - our national team's," - said the strategist who started his work loudly in the national team.
